Gap Foundation Donates $50,000 for Hurricane Relief and Increases Matches for Employee Contributions
(CSRwire) SAN FRANCISCO - In response to the devastation caused by Hurricanes
Charley, Frances and Ivan, Gap Foundation has pledged $50,000 to the
American Red Cross to aid its disaster relief efforts.
Gap Foundation also announced plans to further assist relief efforts by

Gift Match program, which offers a dollar-for-dollar match for all part-
and full-time Gap Inc. employees around the world, will be increased to
match two-for-one for contributions made by employees to the American Red
Cross' Disaster Relief Fund. In addition, for every 15 hours an employee
volunteers with the Red Cross, Gap Foundation will contribute $300.
"In these times, we offer our support to our customers and employees
throughout Florida as they cope with the aftermath of the recent storms,"
said Dotti Hatcher, Vice President, Gap Foundation and Gap Inc. Community
Relations. "The generosity of our employees around the world, and our
commitment to the efforts of the American Red Cross, will help bring these
