The UPS Foundation Awards Grant To Keep America Beautiful, Inc.
(CSRwire) STAMFORD, CT - Keep America Beautiful, Inc. has received a $50,000
grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS (NYSE:UPS). The
grant will be used to support Keep America Beautiful's volunteer
management program.
Keep America Beautiful, the nation's largest nonprofit community
improvement and educational organization, engages individuals to take
responsibility for improving their community environments. Through its
national network of more than 540 affiliates and 400 more participating
organizations, Keep America Beautiful annually involves millions in
stewardship activities across the United States. Last year, 2.3 million
volunteers from more than 14,000 communities participated in Keep America
Beautiful's Great American Cleanup - an annual March through May
program consisting of more than 30,000 events that clean up, fix up,
beautify, paint, sustain and restore America's neighborhoods, public lands
and waterways.
