Imperial Oil Corporate Citizenship Report Now Available
CSRwire note: Imperial Oil's Citizenship Report and Action Plan Update to Canada's Climate Change Voluntary Challenge and Registry Inc. (VCR Inc.)are available in the CSRwire Report Service database.
(CSRwire) TORONTO - Imperial Oil's corporate citizenship report: A Partner
in the Canadian Community, is now available on the Imperial Oil
website. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the company's
environmental and social commitments and performance throughout 2002.

to meaningful dialogue with communities and other partners.

This latest corporate citizenship report is posted on Imperial Oil's web
site at www.imperialoil.ca,
along with a selection of other reports, including the company's Action
Plan Update to Canada's Climate Change Voluntary Challenge and
Registry Inc. (VCR Inc.).
The VCR report documents Imperial Oil's performance, progress and plans to
meet its corporate goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. VCR Inc. has
recognized Imperial Oil as a Gold Champion Level Reporter for its 2002
Report to the Registry. Imperial Oil has earned the highest honour
awarded by surpassing the rigorous reporting standards of VCR Inc.'s
Champion Reporting System.
