The Coca-Cola Company to Offer Healthcare Benefits to Same-Sex Domestic Partners of Employees

(CSRwire) Atlanta, June 22, 2000 - The Coca-Cola Company announced today that it plans to extend healthcare benefits to same-sex domestic partners of its U.S.-based employees, effective Jan. 1, 2001.

Employees will be able to sign up for the program during the Company’s normal benefits enrollment period, which begins in the fall. Complete details will be announced at that time. The Company is currently researching its opportunities for implementing this policy on a global basis.
