Giftberry.org Announces Rescue Plan for Schools
(CSRwire) LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Schools are having trouble in these
economic times. Administrators must make difficult decisions on how to
allocate funds. They have to look for ways to cut spending and save their
schools.
"Enrollment alone costs administrators $40,000 or more per year," says Dan
Rosendahl of www.Giftberry.org. "That $40,000 could go to a teacher or an
after school program, but schools have to spend it processing
students."
Giftberry has an online solution: eRollment that can erase the costs
associated to enroll each student. It's the only solution of its kind.
And they have an appealing price: Free. "Giftberry is a nonprofit, and
provides no cost solutions to all nonprofits and schools," he says. "Yes,
fund raising challenges exist," smiles Rosendahl. "This is a no brainer
solution for schools to cut costs."
But what Rosendahl mostly wants to talk about is saving money for schools
and bringing administrators into the modern era. "These poor people are
forced to use medieval technology to run twenty first century
organizations," he says. "It's ridiculous. And they need some knights
riding to the rescue."
Of course, removing the cost of enrolling students is not going to change
the face of education. Not by itself. Not over night. But changing the
way schools spend money - giving them free, modern tools - will go a long
way toward improving education. www.Giftberry.org is doing its
part.
