900+ MBAs Gather to Discuss Corporate Ethics, Social Responsibility, Fair Trade and Environmentalism
-- Net Impact Hosts 10th Annual Conference --
(CSRwire) Washington, DC - Even as the scandals of corporate giants Enron, Tyco,
WorldCom, and Global Crossing continue to dominate headlines worldwide,
more than 900 future business leaders convene today in Washington, DC for
the 10th Annual Net Impact Conference. The conference will promote the
latest thinking about corporate social responsibility and partnerships in
the areas of social entrepreneurship, public policy, international
business, and the environment. Net Impact, an organization of over 5,000
MBA students and graduates committed to using the power of business to
create a better world, has partnered with the business schools at
Georgetown, The George Washington University, American University, and the
University of Maryland to bring MBAs from across the country to this annual
event.
