Colgate-Palmolive Publishes Online Sustainability Report: Respecting The World Around Us, Living Our Values for Sustainability
(CSRwire) Colgate-Palmolive has just published its online sustainability report,
Respecting The World Around Us: Living Our Values for
Sustainability. The report looks at its achievements and challenges in
corporate social responsibility under the focus areas of People,
Performance and Planet.
The comprehensive report details Colgate’s long-standing commitment to
sustainability and social responsibility, including details of how it has:
Surpassed its global environmental goals on wastewater and energy use
and has set targets to reduce its overall greenhouse gas emissions.
Earned recognition as a leader in corporate governance by
GovernanceMetrics International.
Become one of only three companies in the world to achieve a score of
10 in all of GMI’s rating cycles since its inception in 2003.
Reached 500 million children through its Bright Smiles, Bright Futures
program, an oral health care initiative.
