Capital Gold Group, Inc. - Sponsors C5 Youth Foundation Formerly 'Camp Coca-Cola'
(CSRwire) LOS ANGELES, CA - May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Capital Gold Group, Inc. announced
today that it is a new sponsor of C5 Youth Foundation, whose mission is to
change the odds for high-potential youth from risk-filled environments,
inspiring them to pursue personal success, and preparing them for
leadership roles in college, work and their communities.
Jonathan Rose, founder and CEO of Capital Gold Group, Inc., was
personally inspired by the work of the C5 Youth Foundation. In an
interview today, Mr. Rose revealed that his own experiences as a young
camp counselor working with underprivileged and at-risk youths made C5 a
cause close to his heart.
"C5 addresses critical issues in our community by helping young people
achieve everything they are capable of, despite their background, limited
support or lack of opportunities. This is a very worthy charity that the
Capital Gold Group is proud to sponsor."
The concept of C5 Youth Foundation was originally conceived in 1999 by
John Alm, former CEO of Coca-Cola Enterprises, who had a vision of helping
high potential young people with limited resources grow to become
successful and responsible leaders in their communities.
The Coca-Cola system adopted the concept in 2001 and The Camp
Coca-Cola Foundation, a 501(c)(3) corporation, was created. By listening
to experts in education and youth development, building a talented
leadership team and committed local staffs, and utilizing an esteemed and
engaged National Advisory Council, the Foundation created Camp Coca-Cola.
Today Camp Coca-Cola is recognized as a leading model of youth
development. In 2007, recognizing that the name "Camp Coca-Cola" didn't
do justice to its goals, the program or the youth, the foundation changed
names and became the C5 Youth Foundation.
Other youth foundations recently sponsored by Capital Gold Group, Inc.
include Idol Gives Back, a new U.S. 501(c)(3) charitable organization,
working to help young people living in poverty in the U.S. and around the
world, and The My Stuff Bags Foundation, providing duffel bags filled with
things to cuddle and call their own to over 300,000 abused and neglected
children entering crisis and foster care across America each year without
any of their own belongings.
Capital Gold Group, Inc. is a premier provider of Physical Gold Assets
for direct delivery and in Gold IRAs, as investor protection against the
shrinking U.S. Dollar and an unstable global economic climate. Capital
Gold Group also recently announced the launch of its Gold Affiliate
Program which enables financial advisors nationwide to provide their
clientele a physical gold asset allocation strategy to diversify and
offset a portfolio full of dollar-based investments with a tangible asset.
In a recent interview, Mr. Rose said, "Gold is the missing link in most
portfolio's today. Every investor needs gold as portfolio insurance."
Capital Gold Group's President and CEO, Jonathan Rose, is a recognized
speaker and commentator for worldwide gold markets, including the United
States, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, India, and Europe. He is heard on
syndicated talk radio throughout the U.S. Capital Gold Group, Inc. has
main offices in Los Angeles and London.
