Founder to addresses socially responsible retirement investing
Social(k) President Rob Thomas
(CSRwire) SPRINGFIELD, MA – April 15, 2008 - The president of Social(k), the
nation's most diverse socially responsible retirement platform, will speak
at the All Things Organic(TM) conference and trade show at the Chicago, IL
McCormick Center on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 2:15-3:15 p.m.
Rob Thomas will speak at the "Protecting Your Assets" seminar and will
address topics ranging from what socially responsible retirement investing
means, to how to make sure the funds you invest in are actually socially
responsible funds, and the increasing interest on the part of companies
and employees alike in investing their retirement dollars in socially
responsible funds to match their values with their investments.
Less than one-third (32%) of employees have access to socially responsible
funds as part of their retirement plans although more than two-thirds (68%)
of employees say they would invest in such funds if they were available.

for its staff, as do numerous organic companies including Fresh Harvest
Products (New York City, NY), Guayaki (Sebastopol, CA), Honest Tea
(Bethesda, MD), Indigenous Designs (Santa Rosa, CA), New Resource Bank
(San Francisco, CA), On the Mark Public Relations (Silver Spring, MD),
Oregon Tilth (Salem, OR), and Sambazon (San Clemente, CA).
Springfield, MA-based Social(k) (www.socialk.com) offers more than 150
screened socially responsible funds and over 2000 traditional funds to
choose from. The number of clients on the Social(k) platform grew 186
