New York's First Go Green Expo Hits the City's Hottest Airwaves and Gets Down to Eco-Business
--Go Green Expo, New York City's First Eco-Focused, Interactive Consumer Showcase, Announces The Business Goes Green One Day Summit and Launches New Relationship With Three of New York's Top Radio Stations--
(CSRwire) NEW YORK, NY – February 22, 2008 – Go Green Expo, the first-of-its-kind
eco-focused, interactive consumer showcase to hit New York City, announced
two new collaborations today for the inaugural event taking place Saturday
and Sunday, April 26 and 27. Go Green Expo joins forces with iHollywood
Forum's Business Goes Green, a leading green business summit
designed to explore how companies can create a sustainable future. Hosting
its premiere spring business summit from the Go Green Expo at The
Hilton New York Hotel, the Business Goes Green Summit will take
place all day on Friday, April 25 leading into Go Green Expo's kick-off
charity gala that evening in the Hilton’s Grand Ballroom.
"Business Goes Green is the perfect addition to Go Green Expo's
weekend of events," said Bradford Rand, CEO of Go Green Expo. "We created
this event to give people a full 360 degree view of the benefits of an

Also supporting the inaugural event, three of New York's hottest radio
stations will help Go Green Expo spread the green message to a combined
weekly audience of 4.5 million listeners across the New York Metro area.
Not only will 98.7 KISS FM (WRKS-FM), HOT 97 (WQHT-FM) and CD 101.9
(WQCD-FM) encourage listeners to attend the event and learn about the
latest in all things green, all three stations will show their support
on-site with exhibits touting the stations' own eco-initiatives to
broadcast messages of conservation and awareness.
Following the Friday night launch gala, Go Green Expo kicks-off two
full days at the Hilton New York Hotel, showcasing the latest in
environmentally friendly products and services for both consumers and
businesses. Additionally, Bradford Rand, CEO of Go Green Expo has donated
more than $100,000 of exhibit space to many of the world's leading
environmental non-profit organizations such as Riverkeeper, The Natural
Resources Defense Council, Oceana, Earth Pledge, New York Restoration
Project (NYRP), The Council on the Environment (CENYC), American Forest
Foundation, The Rainforest Alliance and Habitat for Humanity to further
the awareness for our planet's current challenges.
In addition to booths, interactive exhibits and activities the event
features a series of panel discussions and speeches on the most
cutting-edge and controversial environmental topics today with noteworthy
guests and speakers including: Allen Hershkowitz, PhD, senior scientist
Natural Resources Defense Council; David Bach, best selling author of
The Automatic Millionaire and his new book Go Green, Live Rich and
other best sellers; Alex Matthiessen, CEO of Riverkeeper and Dan Beard,
the third Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the House of
Representatives.
Television super-star, Rachael Ray, will be among the many celebrating all
that the event brings to New York by taping for her Emmy(R) award-winning
daytime TV show from the Expo floor. In addition to the many other
eco-minded media companies and businesses supporting Go Green
Expo’s debut which include: Hearst Communications, National
Geographic, Discovery Communications, TreeHugger, Green Mountain Energy,
Plenty Magazine, The Daily Green, E – The Environmental
Magazine and Energy Watch, The New York Postwill highlight Expo
exhibitors in a special section on Green Living that will be featured in
the paper on Earth Day, April 22nd. This unprecedented partnership and
subsequent advertising platform is slated to reach over 2.3 million
readers in the New York metropolitan area.
