Investors' Circle Seeks Mission-Driven Companies to Present at 2008 Spring Venture Fair: February 1st Application Deadline
20 Early Stage Ventures will be Selected to Present at the Investors’ Circle Spring Venture Fair on May 6th at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, CA
(CSRwire) SAN FRANCISCO, CA - January 8, 2007 – The Investors' Circle seeks to
feature the next generation of sustainable, mission-driven ventures at its
2008 Spring Venture Fair. Over 200 institutional and individual investors
are expected to attend the full-day event, which will showcase 20
companies and funds from seed to expansion stages. With audience
attendance limited to accredited investors, presenting ventures will
receive targeted exposure to investors seeking double-bottom-line
investment opportunities.
The results of IC Venture Fairs are highly measurable, and impact is
growing. In the past 3 years, IC venture fairs have resulted in over $20
million in investment for approximately 1/3 of presenting ventures. Sample
investments include Zipcar, Niman Ranch, United Villages, Air America
Radio, and Sonic Innovations.
For its 2008 Spring Venture Fair, Investors' Circle welcomes applications
in the following sectors: Energy & Environment, Food & Organics, Health &
Wellness, Education, Media, and Community & International Development. To
apply, companies will need to submit an electronic application through the

The deadline to submit an application is February 1st.
