Bonita Trust Funds Urgently Required Medical Equipment
(CSRwire) ISRAEL. - 18th November 2008 - The Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Centre, one of
the largest hospitals in Israel, has recently been able to purchase
urgently required medical equipment following a donation from the
Bonita Trust.
With over 1100 beds, the Medical Centre is the city-hospital for Tel Aviv
and is the national referral centre for several specialities, including
trauma, adult neurosurgery, pediatric neurosurgery, orthopedic oncology,
surgical oncology, kidney-pancreas and liver transplants, and microsurgery
on the nervous system. The Medical Center offers unique treatments, not
covered by the national health insurance programme, providing an much
needed healthcare to the surrounding communities.
Commenting on the donation, Professor Gabi Barbash stated "Equipment such
as the Echo-Cardiogram is crucial to fast and effective diagnosis. We are
grateful and thankful to the members of the Bonita Trust for their
cooperation and support."
The Bonita Trust's support for the medical centre forms part of a broader
programme of community-focused philanthropic activity in a number of
countries around the world, and fits well with the Trust's central theme
of facilitating health improvement. Outlining the Trust's support for the
medical centre, Ruth Parasol DeLeon said, "Bonita's work with the Tel Aviv
Sourasky Medical Centre clearly demonstrates the Trust's commitment to both
expanding and developing Bonita's philanthropic activity in Israel. We are
delighted that Bonita's donation will bring tangible benefits to this
invaluable hospital and the communities it serves."

About The Bonita Trust
The Bonita Trust was founded in 2004, under Gibraltar law, as an
independent philanthropic trust by a subsidiary of PartyGaming Plc., whose
then principals were Ruth Parasol DeLeon, Anurag Dikshit, Vikrant Bhargava,
and Russ DeLeon prior to the company's London Stock Exchange flotation in
June 2005. Bonita was created to give back to the communities in which
they, the company, and its staff live and work, past and present.
Bonita focuses the majority of its grant-making in five geographies: the
United Kingdom, India, Israel, Bulgaria and Gibraltar and is also
interested in answering some of the key global challenges facing society.
Most recently, Bonita was recognised by the Gibraltar Heritage Trust which
awarded Bonita the Group Heritage Award in recognition of the contributions
made towards the protection of Gibraltar's heritage. Bonita has also
supported health and education projects in Gibraltar, India, and Israel
and will continue to expand its grant-making in coming years.
As an independent philanthropic trust, Bonita is managed by a professional
Trustee, who is advised by the International Advisory Board.
